Yann Borgstedt, Founder of Womanity, was awarded the Social Impact Prize at BORN Awards 2016.

“You have to have the humility to hire people who are smarter than you – says Yann Borgstedt, entrepreneur, philanthropist and the founder of The Womanity Foundation, born in Switzerland. A successful businessman and entrepreneur, Borgstedt wanted to share his good fortune and make a positive impact on society. So in 2005, he created The Womanity Foundation, dedicated to empowering disadvantaged women and girls all over the world. Listed amongst the top 500 NGO’s, the foundation has ongoing programs in Brazil, the Middle East, India and Afghanistan.”
